With such a long winter and no testing time, the Motordirex boys Ayrton and Aiello made the decision to miss the first race of the year with the Pacific Coast Mini racing Club.

This decision was also based on the development of the new GP3-R09 bikes. The R09 has had significant engine upgrades for safety and reliability over the R08, not to mention some expected speed gains.

Another consideration was 11 year old potential team mate Tristan Gait. Gait is to ride a 3rd GP3-R09 with Ayrton and Aiello but has had no seat time. Testing is scheduled for April 26th weather permitting.

The next scheduled race is June 7, 2009 at Tradex in Abbotsford.
