Western Speedway has decided that it can no longer support mini moto events of any kind for 2008. This after dates were secured by Motordirex Mini Moto and Harold Corbet of Western Speedway for 5 events.

Motordirex received this email from Harold Corbet on May 27th, “I am afraid that with all of the auto racing activities going on at Western Speedway it is evident now that your Pocket Bike program can not be fit into our schedule. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you but I am afraid with only seven days in a week we have run out of time to accommodate your program.”

May 25, 2008 was on the schedule for Western when a conflict of events became apparent days before. This conflict would have the mini motos side-lined while an autocross event took its place.

Motordirex Mini Moto will continue to search for another venue for mini moto racing. Stay tuned.
