A new karting circuit has been constructed
out in Mission, BC. Named appropriately the Westwood Kart Track,
the circuit will play host to not only the Westwood Karting Association
but also the BC Pocket Bike Racing Association in 2009.
The WKA took on the challenge of building their own circuit inside
BC’s only road racing venue, Mission Raceway Park. The 2220 foot
track was completed this year and has already played host to rounds
with the WKA as well as a demo day with the BCPBRA with great success.
The Westwood facility hopes to replace Tradex in Abbotsford for
provincial pocket bike racing and give the BCPBRA a permanent home.
